(Goethe Exam Preparation)

German language proficiency (Goethe) exam preparation is divided into specific learning levels.

A1 level

A1 is the beginner level in the common European framework of reference for languages (CEFR). At this level in German, we’ll learn basic vocabulary, simple Phrases and essential grammar. It covers topics like introducing yourself, daily routines and basic conversations. Practice listening, speaking, reading and writing to strengthen your language skills.  We’ll use A1-level textbooks and workbooks to reinforce grammar rules and practice exercises.

German language level A1 certificate provided by Goethe, is valid in the German Embassies as proof of the basic knowledge of German, enabling any country citizen to apply for a visa for the subsequent immigration of your spouse. 

Requirements to take the course:

  • Willingness to learn

A2 level

A2 is a basic intermediate level in the common European framework of reference for languages (CEFR). At this level, student will be able to understand and use simple phrases engage in basic conversations and handle everyday situations. Topics include personal information, daily routine, shopping and travelling. Additionally basic grammar and vocabulary are essential for communication at this level. Practice listening, speaking, reading and writing to strengthen your language skills.  We’ll use A2-level textbooks and workbooks to reinforce grammar rules and practice exercises.

This is the second level (A2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in common European framework of reference for languages (CEFR). Remember to pace yourself and consistently practice throughout the course. Good luck with your preparation!

B1 level

B1 is an intermediate level in the common European framework of reference for languages (CEFR). You can join the B1 course after the completion of A2 level.  B1 proficiency implies a practical understanding and use of German in everyday scenarios. You will be able to describe your experiences, situations, dreams, hopes and ambitions. Student will be having strong hand in vocabulary and using common useful phrases to relate to more different situations. Language learning involves continuous practice and exposure to various context so student will be engaged with diverse materials and conversations to enhance linguistic skills. We’ll be using B1 level textbooks and workbooks to reinforce grammar rules and practice exercises.

This is the third level (B1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in common European framework of reference for languages (CEFR). Remember to pace yourself and consistently practice throughout the course. Good luck with your preparation!

B2 level

B2 is the upper intermediate level in the common European framework of reference for languages (CEFR). You can join the B2 course after completing B1 level. After completion of B2 level, you will be able to understand the main ideas of the complex topics, and express yourself with a considerable degree of fluency and accuracy. We’ll be using B2 level textbooks and workbooks to reinforce grammar rules and practice exercises.

This is the fourth level (B2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in common European framework of reference for languages (CEFR). Remember to pace yourself and consistently practice throughout the course. Good luck with your preparation!

C1 level

After completion of C1 level you can understand and discuss more Complex topics related to social and professional situations and express emotions and opinions in detail. C1 proficiency denotes an advanced level where you can navigate sophisticated language tasks, understand subtle nuances and engage in complex communication. We’ll be using C1 level textbooks and workbooks to reinforce grammar rules and practice exercises.

This is the fifth level (C1) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in common European framework of reference for languages (CEFR). Remember to pace yourself and consistently practice throughout the course. Good luck with your preparation!
